INFANTS and TODDLERS
Our rooms are a home away from home, where infants receive the special attention they need. Caregivers follow your child's schedule; they know infants change from day to day. Feeding, cuddling, changing, singing, rocking and plenty of smiling are part of every day.
At first, we give your child a crib to call her own. Then, as she becomes mobile, she can easily crawl in and out of our special floor-level beds.
In each room, we have a selection of developmentally appropriate toys. Caregivers use them to introduce your child to simple skills and concepts.
As your infant becomes a toddler, she is ready for new challenges. She takes her place in the classroom community, participating in 'line time' and group schedules. She chooses her own work, which allows her to express her blossoming indivuality.

 PRIMARY
The world opens up to our students as they explore the full spectrum of academics- from the three R's to geography, science, the arts, and practical life skills.
Our classrooms are full of the sights and sounds of learning. One student cares for the plant life in the classroom while another works on a map of North America. The teacher meets with a small group to introduce an advanced math lesson as her assistant moves from child to child, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Concepts are taught through concrete activities, such as tracing the shapes of letters and learning the sound each letter makes. Using the Montessori 'beads', your child not only learns to count, but understands what numbers mean and sees addition and subtraction take place.
Through hands-on work, decision-making, and problem solving, our students develop their most important tools- confidence, self-discipline,and an understanding of how to learn.
 ELEMENTARY
Our program adapts to your child's abilities. Your daughter can do advanced work in math and receive extra help in spelling. Your son can pursue his interest in science as far as it takes him. Our emphasis on individual and small-group work allows us to target lessons closely.
When our students go on to other schools, they take with them a solid academic background. We measure their progress in math, english, and science with the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. They have developed their ability to work independently or in groups, make choices, solve problems creatively, and manage time.
With these skills, your child can meet almost any challenge.
